Airhub Aviation signs contract with Airbus

18 06 2025

Today, at Paris Air Show, Airhub Aviation has signed a multi-year commercial agreement with Airbus. The company, which specializes in aviation asset management and leasing, aircraft maintenance, and transitions, will gain direct access to a wide range of Airbus engineering and upgrade services, supporting its long-term strategy of investing in midlife and end-of-life Airbus aircraft.

Under the agreement, Airhub Aviation will benefit from streamlined procurement of OEM-certified modifications, including advanced navigation systems, enhanced safety features, and performance upgrades supporting cargo configurations and greater aircraft flexibility.

“Having a framework agreement directly with Airbus allows us to bypass intermediaries, ensuring faster execution, greater reliability, and access to certified Airbus modifications,” said Oleg Novak, Managing Director of Airhub Aviation. “For an aviation asset management company like ours, this ensures optimal lead times and access to the highest quality services.”

Enhancing 360° Service Model to Maximize Asset Value

By incorporating Airbus-designed modifications, Airhub enhances its ability to maximize the value and lifespan of its managed assets.

“While our core strength lies in asset management and leasing, Airhub Aviation also maintains in-house capabilities across the full aircraft lifecycle—from acquisition and operations under an AOC to maintenance oversight and end-of-life strategy,” added Novak. “Our 360° service model enables us to deliver consistent value at every stage, helping clients extend aircraft lifespan, reduce downtime, and preserve market value. This agreement with Airbus will significantly support our goal of maximizing overall asset value.”

5-Bay MRO with Airbus A320 Capabilities

Airhub Aviation operates as an aviation asset management and leasing company, with a strong specialization in component trading, MRO, and transition services. The company provides tailored solutions for airlines and lessors by leveraging its expertise in component management, supply chain solutions, and maintenance services.

The company’s facility in Siauliai holds base maintenance approvals for the Airbus A320ceo family, including C, 6Y, and 12Y checks. It also provides line maintenance and out-of-scope maintenance for legacy platforms such as Airbus A330, Airbus A340, and Boeing 737 NG, as well as NEOs like the A320neo and A330neo.

The MRO facility can accommodate five narrow-body aircraft simultaneously or a mix of one wide-body and two narrow-body aircraft, including models up to the size of the Airbus A350-1000.

The location also offers extensive long-term parking capacity, with space for up to 25 narrow-body aircraft simultaneously—one of the largest capacities in the region. It provides cost-effective storage and transition solutions, further strengthened by Siauliai International Airport’s (SQQ) proximity to key European markets. As a NATO base airport, SQQ also ensures high-security infrastructure and round-the-clock operational flexibility.
